I’m disappointed in 18 lawyers, profs defending LGBTQ+ -Dr. Lawrence Tetteh tackles Akoto Ampaw & Co

Famous International Evangelist, Rev. Dr. Lawrence Tetteh says he is disappointed in 18 intellectuals who are against the passage of Promotion of Proper Human Sexual Rights and Ghanaian Family Values Bill, 2021 to criminalise homosexuality- gayism,lesbianism and advocacy of the activities of LGBTQ+ community in Ghana.

18 Ghanaians led by Lawyer Akoto Ampaw including Dean of University of Ghana School Prof. Raymond Atuguba, Dean of University of Ghana School of Information and Communication Prof. Audrey Gadzekpo, Founder of Media Foundation of Africa Prof. Kwame Karikari, Founder of CDD-GHANA Prof. Gyimah Boadi, Founder of Third World Network Dr. Yao Graham, CDD-GHANA Executive Director Prof. H. Kwesi Prempeh, former Citi FM Journalist Nana Ama Agyeman Asante, Prof. Emerita Takyiwa and others haven been defending LGBTQ+ and have petitioned Parliament to reject the passage of the bill seeking make homosexuality criminal and punishable by law.

Rev. Dr. Lawrence Tetteh talking at the Tema Ghana News Agency Industrial Board Room Dialog stage said: “I’m disillusioned with our alleged 18 educators who are to teach us, however are fairly supporting the LGBTQI things”.

Meanwhile, former Deputy Minister of Employment and Labour Relations Baba Jamal said the 18 professors, lawyers and academics opposed to anti-LGBTQ+ bill are the present day Pharasees who were against Jesus in the Bible.

Similarly, the Christian churches including The Church of Pentecost led by Apostle Eric Nyamekye, Anglican Church of Ghana, Methodist, Catholic Bishops Conference,  Advocacy for Christ Ghana and others have petitioned parliament pass the anti-LGBTQ Bill into law to criminalise homosexuality in Ghana.

“Gay right is an insult to God’s intelligence”, Apostle Nyamekye told MPs.

According to the Church of Pentecost Chairman Apostle Nyamekye, the Christian community in Ghana will campaign against every politician, MP and/or government that approve homosexuality-gayism and lesbianism in Ghana.
