Internet speed : Speedtest Global Index ranks Ghana first in Africa
Speedtest Global Index has ranked Ghana the first in Africa in the area of internet connectivity.
The latest global ratings by Speedtest Global Index puts Ghana on the top in Africa with the fastest internet connectivity.
According to the global assessment, Ghana’s internet speed stands at 53. 28Mbps, a shining example to Africa.
South Africa’s internet speed follows with 47.32 Mbps.
In his immediate reaction to the index, Digital Entrepreneur at iSolve Africa Henry Kobblah says the “Internet connectivity is crucial for progress of businesses.
Speaking in an interview monitored by African Editors in Accra on Tuesday 27 July 2021 in Accra, Mr. Kobblah said “the position of Ghana in the global level of internet speed requires a lot more efforts to stamp its internet rankings in the community of nations”.
