Let’s replace propaganda with proper-agenda -Dr. Amoah

Dr. Kofi Amoah, also known as Citizen Kofi, a renowned Businessmen, Philanthropist, and Sports Administrator in Ghana, has urged political parties in the country to prioritize implementing effective solutions to address Ghana’s challenges rather than relying on propaganda and empty promises.

He criticized Ghanaian politicians for focusing solely on winning elections while neglecting the issues faced by citizens due to poor economic management.

Dr. Amoah highlighted the current economic crisis in Ghana, particularly the sharp depreciation of the Cedi, and emphasized the need for politicians to focus on practical solutions to rescue the nation from economic turmoil.

He warned that political parties that fail to address Ghana’s economic challenges with sensible solutions will face backlash from the public and may become unpopular soon after assuming office.

Dr. Amoah stressed the importance of replacing propaganda with a well-thought-out agenda and suggested that politicians prioritize implementing feasible solutions to improve Ghana’s economy and overall well-being.

He urged politicians to shift their focus from propaganda to substantive agendas to bring about tangible change in Ghana’s economic landscape.

An Akan proverb goes something like this:

Abaa yedebo Takyi, enoaa na yedebo Mensah

To wit:

Best Forex Broker!
Poker, Roulette, Blackjack & More!
The punishment meted out to Mr Takyi will be the same to Mr Mensah for same or similar malfeasance

In the rush to judgement in the US OJ Simpson murder trial of his wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, the then racist Los Angeles Police Dept, in its overzealousness to convict OJ, a Blackman, planted some fake evidence at the crime scene … that ultimately led the jury to pronounce Mr Simpson innocent !!

During the 2016 electioneering campaigns, Bawumia made exaggerated and unfounded economic theories, for example:

“If the fundamentals are weak, the exchange rate will expose you”

Today, with the sharpest depreciation of the Cedi in the history of the country, he has had to invent other spurious economic theories to camouflage his party’s disastrous economic fundamentals that has bankrupted the nation, inflation and excruciating joblessness…

The lesson here is that let the political contestants concentrate on what solutions they can apply to rescue Ghana’s bankrupt economy and not spend all their time in propaganda that they think can help them win the election…

Any such strategy will be like winning a battle and losing the war

The next govt that does not come with commonsensical solutions that the population can believe in and support will only enjoy a honeymoon period of about 6 months, maximum one year before they become lame duck, an unpopular govt with possible street demonstrations

Ghanaians are impatient and have become aware of the various shenanigans govts have used in the past to keep them in a haze …

THOSE DAYS ARE OVER!!

Fortunately there are viable and low hanging fruit solutions that we must focus on to distill and sharpen for immediate implementation come January 2025

Let’s Replace PROPAGANDA with PROPER-AGENDA
