The health walk dubbed, “Showdown in Takoradi ” was used to galvanise support for Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, the New Patriotic Party flag bearer aspirant.

The Takoradi Showdown was the third in the series of Showdowns after the ones organized in Accra and the stronghold of the NPP, Kumasi.

Supporters of the Assin North MP came out in their numbers to join him and his team in the fitness walk through the principal streets of Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis.

The walk started from Sekondi and ended at the forecourt of Badu Addo School in Takoradi where Kennedy Ohene Agyapong addressed the supporters who thronged the venue.

In his usual outburst, the NPP firebrand ,went berserk in blasting leaders in Western Region for failing to develop the most endowd resource Region in the country.

He touted his personal credentials while describing himself as the most experienced politician with sufficient achievements in the business circle, and appealed to delegates of the party to vote massively for him to lead the NPP into the 2024 general elections
