NAGRAT, CCT,others to embark on strike by Sept 2021
National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT) and Coalition of Concerned Teachers (CCT) are threatening to embark on a full-blown industrial action if government fails to address their grievances as they gave September 2021 deadline.
According to them, the worsening conditions of service including transfer payments, compensation for teachers teaching at hard to reach areas coupled with extension make it unbearable in recent times.

Speaking in an interview monitored by African Editors on Tuesday 10 August 2021 in Accra, President of NAGRAT Angel Karbonu said “The employer must stop paying a lip service to issues on the educational front. The ultimate objective for our statement is to get our grievances addressed”.
There is a growing agitations on the labour front with UTAG on nationwide strike, Ghana Medical Association is threatening to lay down their tools whilst some TUC members are fighting against 4% pay rise.
