‘Never Say Die’ motto of your club is an inspiration to NDC- Mahama to Torgbui Afede

The people of Ho defied the rains yesterday to welcome EX-President John Dramani Mahama to the Palace of the good people of the Asogli State.

The 2020 NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama thanked the people of Volta region for the love and constant support for the party.

Speaking during a courtesy call on the Agbogbomefia of Asogli State Togbui Afede the fourteen as party of his Thank you tour, the former Ghanaian Leader Mahama said “Never Say Die’ motto of your club is an inspiration to our party, the NDC”.

The last elections, though the Oti region was carved out of the Volta region, you still gave us the highest votes in the last elections. 84% was no joke and I appreciate you and your people.

H.E John Dramani Mahama took advantage of the thank you tour to thank the chief of the Asogli state for his exploits in business and the work he is doing in Cameroon and Congo.

He also recounted the work Torgbui Afede did to help his administration solve the Dumsor in his era.

Finally, Ex-President Mahama congratulated Accra Hearts of Oak for their victory in the African Cup of nations. Torgbui we are always inspired by the motto of Accra Hearts of oak and we will assure you that the NDC will never say die. We will bounce back better and stronger. We will never say die he concluded.
