NPP didn’t promise a perfect Ghana –Oppong Nkrumah

According to Ghana’s Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the Akufo-Addo-led government did not pledge to create a perfect Ghana for its citizens.

Oppong Nkrumah emphasized that the government made promises to improve the lives of Ghanaians, but did not guarantee perfection. He clarified that the concept of perfection was not mentioned in the New Patriotic Party’s manifesto.

Despite the challenges currently faced, the ruling government has made significant progress in stabilizing the economy compared to the previous administration. Oppong Nkrumah acknowledged that while progress has been made, there are still difficulties experienced by many Ghanaians. He highlighted the reduction in inflation from over 50 percent to around 20 percent, indicating progress.

Oppong Nkrumah stated that although perfection was not promised, the government will continue to work on fulfilling its commitments and building upon unfulfilled promises.
