Pride Academy defeats Forevergreen in quiz competition

Pride Academy has triumphant over Forevergreen Preparatory School in inter schools quiz competition on on their compound on Friday.

The two schools are forming an alliance and have lined up series of activities to establish the bond.

The quiz competition is one of the activities, which is two legged affair.

The schools battled it around three important subjects; English Language, Mathematics and Science.

The first round was English Language, which was won by Forevergreen by 39 points as against Pride Academy 33points.

The second round was Almighty Mathematics which was hard nut to crack for both schools, but in the end Pride Academy emerged victorious with 12 points as against Forevergreen 9 points.

The third and final round was Science which drawn the battle line between the two schools.

Pride Academy won the third round with 27 points, and securing 21 points.

After all the rounds, the Forevergreen preparatory school had 69 points while Pride Academy got 72 points to claim the victory.

The two School heads expressed their satisfaction with the performance from their students and encouraged them to work even harder.

There were five contestants from each School, and each contestant took home two exercise books, a pencil and a pen.

There will be a return encounter which will be hosted by Forevergreen, but the date is yet to be fixed.
