Qatar 2022: Ghana to face Suarez’s Uruguay

FIFA World Cup draw took place in Doha on Friday, and Ghana has been put in the same group with Suarez’s Uruguay and Christiano Ronaldo’s Portugal and South Korea.

Ghana edged their neighbours Nigeria to qualify for this year’s World cup.

The draw will remind the world especially Ghanaian over their heartbroken moment in the 2010 world cup quarter finals.

Luis Suarez handed the ball on the goal line to deny Ghana a last-minute winner.

The referee whistled for a penalty, but unfortunately, Asamoah Gyan blasted the ball against the goal post.

Uruguay went on to win the on penalties to deny Ghana a historic moment.

Suarez received loads of curses from Ghanaians and other African countries.

Well, this is the moment for Ghana to revenge as they face each other in the group stage of the 2022 World Cup.
