“We adjust prices to sustain business”- DSTV tells customers.

Multichoice Ghana, the mangers of DSTV and GoTV have told their customers that the only option they have in order to remain as a sustainable business is to adjust their pricing because of the high taxes they are been bombarded with.

On Monday, 2nd August 2021, Multiple-choice alerted his numerous customers that starting 1st September 2021 they will adjust their prices based on the packages they have subscribed to.

Many of these customers took to social media to aired their displeasure over the adjustment. One customer by name Godsway Korku Amenyo took the bold step and privately message the multi-choice Ghana to ask why they keep adjusting their prices.

The company thanked Godsway for the message and took their time to explain that chunk of the subscriptions goes into Tax, they also give him a breakdown of how that deductions are made, 12.5% goes into VAT, 2.5% into NHIL, 2.5% to Getfund, 5% to CCST and 1% to covid levy.

Meanwhile, DSTV has announced to its customers that they have secured the right to show FA Cup and UEFA Europa League in addition to the UEFA Champions League next season, so their customers should stay tuned for more exciting programs.
