NDC MP involved in accident

An outspoken member of parliament for Dwaaboso in western region in the ticket of the biggest opposition party in Ghana National Democratic Congress NDC Hon Kwabena Mintah Akandor’s car has been involved in a fatal accident last night on his way to Accra.

The incident occured at Nyinahini in Ashanti region.

Hon is responding to treatment at the Nyinahini government hospital.

Hon is doing well just that his body guard sustained some injuries.

MP for Juaboso, Kwabena Minta Akandoh, bodyguard Cpl. Joseph Ntimbe and driver, Joseph Amo, early last night survived a serious accident enroute to Accra from Sefwi through Kumasi.

Reports say his Landcruiser collided head-on with a Mercedes Benz Sprinter bus heading towards Sefwi Wiawso from Kumasi around a community known as Nyinahin Twere Nyame.

Victims of the accident were rushed to the Nyinahin Government Hospital and the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for treatment.

Reports so far suggest that that all passengers in the Sprinter bus and the MP’s Landcruiser survived the serious accident, albeit with various injuries.

The MP, who was also briefly admitted, is reportedly responding to treatment.
