Alan Dr. Abu Sakara form alliance for 2024 election

The Movement for Change (M4C) led by Alan Kyerematen and the National Interest Movement (NIM) led by Dr. Abu Sakara Foster have announced that they have reached an agreement with several political entities to form a united front for the upcoming 2024 General elections.

The goal of this alliance is to break the stronghold of the NDC and NPP, two parties that have been in power for 32 years without effectively addressing the development challenges facing Ghana. The divisive nature of Ghanaian politics, the winner-takes-all mentality, and the lack of continuity in government projects have led to hardships for the people of Ghana.

The Alliance aims to create a Government of National Unity that represents a diverse range of stakeholders, including political parties, business community, farmers, fishermen, labor unions, faith-based organizations, traditional authorities, civil society groups, academia, media, and other interest groups. They will work towards developing a National Development Plan that goes beyond party manifestos and serves as a blueprint for Ghana’s economic transformation.

There is a good reason why you should support the African Editors. Not everyone can afford to pay for news right now. That is why we keep our journalism open for everyone to read, including in Ghana. If this is you, please continue to read for free. But if you are able to, then there are three good reasons to support us today.
