67 entries mistakenly included in govt performance tracker

The government of Ghana has revealed that 67 entries were mistakenly included in the government’s performance tracker within 48 hours of its launch.

In a tweet, the government also expressed appreciation for the high level of interest shown by citizens in the tracker.

The government stated, “The successful launch of the Performance Tracker has elicited significant interest and scrutiny from citizens, which demonstrates their dedication to ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the information provided.

Within 48 hours of the launch, we have identified 67 entries that were mistakenly included.”

The Performance Tracker platform is designed to provide Ghanaian citizens with easy access to important information regarding the government’s performance since 2017.

The government’s accomplishments are sourced from 30 ministries, showcasing projects undertaken as well as data on the outcomes, impacts, and beneficiaries of government initiatives, allowing users to evaluate their effectiveness.

By highlighting these achievements, the government aims to promote transparency and accountability, and to instill public confidence in its ability to fulfill its commitments.
